Linen Belgian needlepoint and bobbin tape lace fragment (possibly a mantel scarf), with plain inner edge; the overall design has raised work, raised cordonnet, the gimp of the close parts resembles cambric; the inner half of the design consists of overall floral and leaf pattern, the outer half consists of alternating pattern of lillies framed with decorative arches, and roses framed with pinnate leaves, this design creates a scalloped outer edge.
