Silk hand sewn U.S. flag with thirteen white stars in five vertical stripes (three rows of three diveded by to rows of two stars) in the blue canton; thirteen red and white stripes; natural cotton hoist with three button holes.

This reproduction (possibly original) U.S. flag is one of many designs used in the colonial period after the Flag Resolution of 1773, which stated, "...the Flag of the united states be thirteen stripes alternated red and white; that the Union be thirteen stars white in a blue field representing a new constellation."
