Grace Church is an Episcopal Church on Broadway and 10th Street, occupied from 1846 by a congregation organized in 1808 at Broadway and Rector Street. It was designed by James Renwick Jr. (architect of New York's St. Patrick's Cathedral), in a decorated Gothic style. The rectors of the church have been influential leaders of the branch of American Episcopalianism known as the Low Church, and has been an active force in serving New York City's poor.
