Description 
Brown silk stripe brocade child's dressing gown or "banyan" al a` anglaise; full-length with a jewel neckline; center front opening with no closure; al a` anglaise fitted through bodice and gradually flaring from waist to hem; close-fitting set-in sleeves with turn back cuffs; silk possibly of Lyons, France origin of a blue and cream foliate stripe pattern on a brown ground and lined with blue china silk; pleats at center, left and right back seams at waist creating fullness and slight train.
