Description
White cotton christening gown with whitework embroidery and bobbin lace trim; square neckline trimmed with bobbin lace, gathered from CB to shoulders; CF panel with rows of horizontal pintucking and scalloped flounces edged in whitework and eyelet embroidery from neckline and narrowing to empire waistline, then gradually widening from waist to hem; sides of panel trimmed with scalloped eyelet flounce; two tiers of pintucking from CF panel near hem continue around skirt; short puffed sleeves gathered at shoulders, trimmed with whitework embroidery and edged with bobbin lace; gathered empire waistline defined by a placket of floral and S-curved whitework embroidery; single mother-of-pearl button and silk cord ties at CB neckline; machine-stitched.
