Description
Oval ceramic box with hinged lid with scalloped copper lip at the front center to grip to lift the lid open, the rims of the lid and box are trimmed with copper, the lid of the box is painted with the image of a man and woman courting in an outdoor setting, the sides are painted with two bands of design in gold, the upper band is in rinceau design, the lower band is a floral garland.
