Rectangular wooden plaque with shield at center with insignia and inscriptions in relief, presented to the New-York Historical Society by The State Insurance Fund of New York; insignia in plastic of silver spread eagle with circular green cross emblem over breast, against textured gold colored metal foil ground; metal chain on reverse for hanging.
