Description
Cube shaped wooden butter mold with corners mortised and held with removable pegs (now missing); diamond with incurving sides inscribed in a circle carved on two inner faces, six-petaled flower inscribed in circle carved on third face, and "X" motif carved on fourth face.

This mold originally had a cover, most likely pyramid shaped. Marks carved on corresponding corners (XX, XX, ><, and \ /) serve as guides for proper assembly.
