The dramatic Table Rock remained a popular tourist attraction at Niagara Falls until it cracked and fell into the depths below in 1850. This view is based on Russian artist Paul Svinin's watercolor, "Niagara Falls, Table Rock by Moonlight," published in "Picturesque Voyage in North America" (1818).
