Description
Seed pearl parure of jewels in fitted case; necklace of seed-pearl rosettes with center pearl--14 graduated rosettes with center suspending a 15th--all strung with string into mother-of-pearl plaques, brooch of 1 similar rosette suspending a smaller rosette and pearl fringes; pair of pendant earrings of similar design, 1 string of 1 earring broken; fitted case in burnt-orange velvet lined with sapphire-blue satin; maker's mark sticker on case illegible.

According to the accession notes, this parure (suite of jewels) was given to Fanny Arnot by her future father-in-law on her marriage to R.S. Palmer of New York in 1864. She married George Griswold Haven in 1877.
