Description 
Brass arched band spurs with cylindrical goads fitted with a ball head with a spiked dial through the center; brass buttons at the ends of the bands; brass chain boot band, a leather boot strap and scalloped square metal buckle attached to the buttons.

These spurs were worn by Lieutenant John R. Myrick of the Third Artillery, Battery E, who served at Folly Island, S.C. in 1864. He was wounded at Olustee (Ocean Pond) Florida, February 20, 1864.
