Gold regimental pin of shield shape belonging to Captain Benjamin G. Edmonds; inscribed with Brooklyn City Cadets information and chased edges; pin attachment; tan ring box lined with white satin; retailer's name printed under top lid.

This regimental pin belonged to Captain Benjamin G. Edmonds, captain of the 13th Regiment of the New York State Militia, also known as the National Greys and Brooklyn Cadets. The Society owns a portrait of Capt. Edmonds wearing his regimental uniform, as well as his sword and epaulets.
