Description
Handwoven and embroidered wool harlequin paisley shawl, in yellow, red, green, blue, white, purple and black; the center is black with undecipherable symbols embroidered off the center; large boteh radiate from center, four pointing diagonally towards the corners, four set between them, the rest of the ground is worked throughout in boteh, plant and root design, the inner border is a row of rinceau and boteh design, the outer border is pieced to the center and consists of alternating arabesque and boteh motif, there is hand embroidered floral design within the motif.
