Wrought silver coffee and tea service consisiting of a coffeepot, teapot, sugar bowl with lid and a creamer; octagonal, lantern-shaped bodies with long extended necks; rounded bases set on four scroll feet with acanthus leaves at the knees; convex bands at the shoulders; cast and applied octagonal stepped rims; octagonal domed lids with an octagonal balustrade finial; crisp engraving of foliate scrolls with japanesque figures and scenes on each of the eight segments of the bodies; eight diffent flowers engraved on the rounded bases; maker's marks on the bases.

Engraving: Each of the eight panels of the body is engraved with asymmetrical foliate scrolls with Chinoiserie figures and scenes. Bases are engraved with eight different flowers, while lids, spouts, and handles are decorated with foliate scrolls and leaf garlands.
