Description 
Wrought silver waste bowl; square, boat-shaped body with bulbous gadrooning around the lower body, set on four hollow, cast and chased bird claw and ball feet with chased feathers over the area where they are applied; flared to an applied, stamped band of rose garlands; engraved with a three leaf clover over a bar at the back center; engraved initials, "JMC" in script at front center; maker's mark on the base.
