Iron bayonet excavated at the British military camp on the Dyckman farm in Washington Heights, Manhattan; triangular blade which is flat on top; connected by curving elbow to cylindrical socket with collar at base; point of blade is broken off.

This bayonet was found in 1892 by A.C. Chenowith on Seaman Avenue at the British camp on the Dyckman farm, which extended between Seaman and Payson Avenues and 204th Street, in Washington Heights.
