Description
Wrought silver creamer; oval, tapered body on a stepped oval foot with four convex flutes; foot engraved with a foliate band on upper step and a double band of dots on the lower step; body has four convex flutes, two on each side; concave shoulder flares to a raised and extended pouring rim; plain applied rim with an engraved decorative band below; cast, tapered strap handle with two grooves up the center; bright-cut foliate band below the shoulder; shield reserves on each side draped with swags; maker's mark stamped on the footring.

Mark: stamped on footring: "WISHART" in a rectangle
Engraving: center-front and center-back bright-cut shield framed with beading and surrounded by mantling of swags, draper, ribbons, and tassels; also bright-cut engraved ornamental borders along lip, shoulder, and beading at foot.
