Wrought silver coffeepot; oval, urn-shaped body with broad, shallow flutes on each side at the ends; applied to an oval, stepped foot with broad, shallow flutes on each side of the lower step at the ends; upper step engraved with a wave and bell flower band; concave shoulder raised to an applied flat rim; hinged, oval, concave lid, raised in the center to a small oval dome with a cast urn finial; a bell flower and waved line band is engraved around the edge of the lid; dot band engraved around the dome; s-curve spout, cast in two vertical halves, with a notched spout; cylindrical handle sockets fitted with a wooden c-curve scroll handle; engraved foliate and leaf band below the shoulder; oval reserves in the centers surrounded by corn husks; front reserve engraved with a unicorn head above the initial, "G" in script; maker's marks on the footring.
