Description
Seamed silver plated beaker; cylindrical body flared at the lip; engraved in the front center, "A L" in gothic script; maker's mark stamped on the base.

Marks
Inscriptions: engraved at front center: "A L" in Gothic letters, relating to Adelaide Livingston (1852-1909), who is believed to have been the original owner of beaker.
Maker's mark: stamped on base: "E F/R" surrounding loosely coiled snake in diamond surround stamped on bottom; small somewhat indistinguishable mark similar to trefoil located to left of maker. Diamond mark in style of French hallmark. Hallmark also stamped in relief on body just under lip, but is difficult to decipher. Mark has square surround and is stamped through to body interior.
