Description 
Wrought silver creamer; squat, round body with narrow, tapering gadrooning around the lower body; applied, concave shoulder with an applied foliate scroll band rim; short, wide pouring lip with a low back and sides; seated on a short, circular, stepped and molded pedestal with a vertically applied beaded footring; double c-scroll handle with an acanthus grip and a solid scroll terminus, joined to and curved above the rim; engraved on the front center with the arms of the Maitland family, a crowned leopard seated on fess with spread arms, holding a sword in the left paw and a clover in the right; gilt interior; maker's marks stamped on the base.
