engraved: in the reserve: the arms of the Banks family, a griffin on fess stamped: on the base: a lion passant in a chamfered rectangle, a leopard's head in a shield, the king's bust in an oval and "i" in a chamfered rectangle all around "JA" in roman letters in a rectangle
