Description
Molded creamware pitcher, bulbous with cylindrical neck and slightly scrolled handle; black transfer printed decoration on both sides and under spout depicting 1) Bust of Lafayette in medallion, 2) Bust of Washington in medallion, 3) (Under spout) spread eagle with stars, arrows, and laurel; the neck is banded in black, and there are black hand painted decorations on the spout and handle.
