Poppy shades, like the Dragonfly models, feature a similar system of pierced metal filigree in the blossoms and leaves of the poppy flowers. But while the Dragonfly shade always has the filigree on the outside, the Poppy shades show alternative treatments: the filigree could be placed either in front of or behind the glass (as here), each arrangement giving a slightly different effect.
