Description 
Molded creamware pitcher, bulbous with strap handle; black transfer printed decoration on both sides and spout depict: 1) a shield with four sections showing wheat, rakes, and pitch forks, scythes, and chaff separating baskets, between a man with a scythe and a woman with a butter churn;2) a fully rigged ship with three masts, an American flag, and figures; 3) (under spout) spread eagle with stars, arrows, and laurel; there is gold painted decoration around the rim and spout.
