Molded whiteware plate; rimmed in gold and decorated with crossed flags (2) in blue with red cross and red with blue stripe and one white star with gold poles and inscriptions generally near rim.

This plate was part of the dinner service of the steam yacht "Eugenia" (Length:113 feet; Waterline: 91 feet, 6 inches), which was deisgned by W.G. Herreshoff and built by Herreshoff Co., in Bristol, Rhode Island, in 1904; the yacht was intended for John B. Herrshoff. The donor was the yacht's last owner.
