Description
Wrought silver George III mustard pot; oval, boat shaped body with a concave shoulder and an applied, gadrooned rim; seated on four hollow cast ball feet; hinged, ovoid stepped and domed lid with an indentation for the stem of a mustard spoon at the front center; applied, cast urn finial in the center of the dome; molded hinge-plate attached to a squared loop handle which tapers to the base; engraved on the front center with a demi-lion rampant on fess over the initials, "S W F" in script; maker's marks stamped on
