Description
Wrought silver waiter; flat, round dish with an applied, cast, scrolled lip and applied, cast, scrolled and shell rim; three cast molded pad feet; engraved on the base, "EVANS/ 1721" in block letters; maker's marks stamped on the base.

Gallery Label
This waiter originally belonged to Dorothy Evans. It was passed to her daughter Margaret Fee (b. 1758), who married Captain Clement Miller. The Millers passed it to their daughter Frances, who married Richard Farmer, who gave it to the donor.
