Description
Black beaver (textile) chapeau with rigid crown; cock and fan trimmed with black ostrich feathers and tied together with black ribbon on either side; loop of gold braid with red velvet-covered disk at center embroidered with superimposed "V," "C," and "7"; gilded metal button embossed with initials "NG" between branches of oak and laurel; gold bullion fringe at each corner; black leather sweatband and pink silk lining.
