Description
Leaded glass and bronze "Bamboo" table lamp with Bamboo shade and base; 16" diameter globe-shaped shade depicting bamboo stalks and leaves growing alongside a horizontal wire trellis; long tapering leaves rendered in green fibrillated glass with yellow mottling; background of whitish, semi-opaque glass. Integrated base consists of a sectioned main stem supported by eight slimmer reedlike stalks each of which divides into five rootlets, which rise from a round platform. Finial made of sixteen reeds radiating from center to periphery; center knob depicts a multitude of seeds.
