Description
Porcelain plate with deep well; double border of black, turquoise, and gilt bands with golds and rust fleur-de-lis surrounding central polychrome harbor scene; the scene includes two fully rigged Dutch 'East Indianmen' flying red flags, some smaller boats, and a town; it is surrounded by a polychrome enamel scrolling cartouche.
