This Massachussetts Regimental flag of Bunker Hill is based on the writting of B. J. Lossing of 1852 in the "Pictoral Field Book of the Revolution." His theory for the design came from a story told by a woman whose father served at Breed's Hill (Battle of Bunker Hill). This design is heavily debated, historians do not believe any flag was flown over Bunker Hill. This style of flag was used throughout the Colonial era, and could have been carried or flown in and around MA, during the War.
