Brass and iron pair of spurs; U-shaped brass spurs with rectangular slots for strap at top, and serrated, star-shaped iron wheel rod-fastened to curved foot at bottom; stamped mark on top exterior.

According to accession records, these spurs were taken from the boots of a Confederate officer at the Battle of Spotsylvania Court House on May 21, 1864.
