Description 
Twelve silver dessert forks with downturned oval handles with an allover floral pattern on the front and short midribs on the undersides; undersides of the handles engraved, "LBS" in script; four curved tines on each; maker's marks stamped on the undersides of the stems.

Gallery Label 
The initials "LBS" refer to Louise Bancker Stafford (1860-1934) who married William Howard Gilder in 1881.
