"The Troublesome Donkeys" board game with cardboard spinner, four lead "Simple Simon" on donkey figures in a linen pouch and a board set into the bottom of the box; board lithographed with a country landscape and a twisting path of red and gold circles with stops at a "Blacksmith Shop", "Harness Store", etc.; box cover lithographed with an image of "Simple Simon riding a donkey and a clown being thrown from a donkey's back; board inscribed, "the/ TROUBLESOME/ DONKEYS/ COPYRIGHT 1898 BY McLOUGHLIN BROS., NEW YORK"; instructions on the underside of the box cover.
