"The Game of Jolly Tars" board game with four turned wooden playing pieces, a cardboard spinner with a metal arrow an apaper board applied to the bottom half of the paper covered cardboard box; board chromolithographed with a grid of blue squares between the northeast coast of the U.S. and the coasts of England and France with boats inbetween; board inscribed, "The Game of/ JOLLY/ TARS"; box cover chromolithographed with three sailors or "tars", one playing guitars, one dancing and another looking on on the deck of a boat with a steamship in the background; box cover inscribed, "The GAME of/ JOLLY/ TARS/ PARKER/ BROTHERS/ SALEM, MASS., U.S.A."
