"Games of Monopolist, Marniner's Compass and Ten Up" board game with a hinged box that opens like a book with two boards on the interior; one side is two grids with green squares, corners and center; marker with compass directions divided by images of the north pole and a multi-colored compass; and the other side with an oval path of red squares around foliate decoration and two acrobats with octagons numbered 1-4 in the corners; box opens to a circular board divided into six rings, two outer rings have images of ships, sheafs of wheat, andirons, telescopes and spiders; inner rings labeled "UNLUCKY VENTURE/ IMPAIRED CAPITAL/ EMBARRASSMENT/ LOSS OF CREDIT" and "RUIN/ FAILURE/ BANKRUPCY/ DISHONOR", corners have images of scientists, farmers, merchants and mechanics; side of box lithographed, "GAMES OF MONOPOLIST/ MARINER'S COMPASS AND TEN UP"; game board slides into a paper covered cardboard sleeve with a chromolithograped label with an image of dogs and the inscription, "GAMES/ of/ Monopolist/ MARINER's/ COMPASS/ and/ TEN UP/ McLOUGHLIN BRO'S, PUBLISHERS, N.Y."; playing pieces include a metal spider, a double-arrowed spinner on a wooden block, six turned wooden playing pieces and 22 counters marked as one dollar coins.
