The W.S.P or Women's Strike for Peace organization was founded by Bella Abzug and Dagmar Wilson as a result of an international protest of nuclear weapons testing held on November 1, 1961. From the 1960's to the 1990's it continued to voice its opposition to nuclear armaments and supported the peace movement.
