Description
This wooden cup and stand, shaped a bit like an egg cup, held shaving soap. The paper label on the top reads "Handy Shaving Soap/ D.S. Brown & Co./ Makers/ New York" and on the bottom "David S. Brown & Co./...unrivaled reputation among the Barbers of the United States for their/ Shaving Soap.. makes thick creamy lather...will not dry or smart the face".
