Description
This comic book features Outcault's Yellow Kid. The cover reads "Vol.I. No.6. June 9, 1897 5 Cents/ TheYellow Kid/ R.F. Outcault By Permission of / The N.Y. Journal." The Yellow Kid is standing aboard a ship holding a spy glass with the captain standing behind him. His gown reads "Me An De Captain Is Running Dis Ship". On the reverse is an advertisment for the N.Y. Sunday Journal.
