Description
This box has white textured paper on the sides and a gold and white, deeply embossed paper label on the lid, which opens on a hinge. In the center of the top label is a portrait of a man in red robes surrounded by white embossed cherubs, flowers, banners, medals of award and an urn and reads in blue "Henry Matier & Co./ Belfast/ Prize Medal, Paris 1867/ Prize Medal, London 1862/ Superior Pure Linen Handkerchiefs/ Extra Quality/ Ready For Use". The inside has two purple compartments with hinged covers of white textured paper with two color prints of women with exotic headresses applied to the covers.
