A dark metal ink well with a base decorated with fencing swords, a boy's school pack with books and baseball bat and a large egg shaped vessel with a cat's head on the lid. The lid opens on a hinge to expose an inkwell with a clear glass liner. The lid is engraved "Charley's Aunt/ Performance Wed. Feb. 7th 1894/ Standard Theatre N.Y.", and another cat's head in embossed onto the inside of the lid.
