5 3/8 x 5 x 2 in.
This brown metal coin bank is shaped and embossed to resemble a domed pavillion. It is embossed above the coin slot in the center "Elting & Sons/ Clothiers", and near the bottom "1492 1892 /Administration Bldg. Columbian Exhibition". The coins can be removed through a combination lock hatch in the bottom by lining up the numbers 4 and 2 at the indicator line. The back is embossed "Columbian Magic Savings Bank", and a metal piece inside the coin slot indicated that it once had a spring-loaded a mechanical mechanism for inserting the coin that has broken off.
