Description
A store display and ink stand with a frame for holding paper or cards, two barrels drilled with holes for ink wells, and pen holder supports in front of the barrels. Embossed with monograms, leaf and floral patterns and product information on the front "Minett & Company/ Varnish Makers/ Coach & Car Varnishes/ Baking Japans/ Blk Rub/ Offices 60 Pearl St. N.Y./ 16 N. 12St. Phi'a/ Pat'd May 10th 1881", on the sides "Japanners/ Varnishes/ House Painters Varnishes", "Piano Forte Varnishes/ Cabinet Makers Varnishes". The rear has a hinged door for filling the ink wells.
