Description
A silvery gold colored badge or pin embossed and shaped like a flower pod, possibly a poppy, highlighted with white paint. It reads "A.C.M.A./ 1909/ Richmond, VA./ May 25th, 26th." Probably a medallion from the Acca Temples of America also known as the Shriner's, notable for their red fez hats, miniature car parades and most significantly, philanthropic maintenance of hospitals for ill and disabled children.
