Description
Elongated almond-shaped yellow and pale blue paper lantern with designs printed in orange and black; souvenir of the 1876 presidential campaign of Rutherford B. Hayes, with portrait of Hayes printed on one side and portrait of his running mate, William A. Wheeler, printed on the other; wire frame with wooden supports at either end, the lower end with sheet metal cuff to serve as a candle holder.
