Description
White cardboard matchbook printed in grey, black and white; "Batons / CALIFORNIA CUISINE" is printed in black with a design element of black and white batons forming both the vertical of the letter b, and the horizontal of the letter t in the establishment's name; The text is placed upon 11 horizontal lines and has further geometric design embellishment of overlapping squares with the top square having polka dots within its border. There are five of these and are place with two in the upper left hand corner and three in the lower right hand corner of the front of the matchbook; The overlapping square element is continued on the reverse of this matchbook; 3 of identical size to those depicted on the front are printed on the reverse. The text "62 WEST 11th ST. / NEW YORK CITY / (212) 473 -9510 is printed within a triple overlapping grouping of squares. All of the printing on the reverse is above the striker;
