Representative WHEN CAN THEIR GLORY FADE, scroll, upside down pinnacle, THE WHITEHEAD AND HOAG CO., NEWARK, N.J.; 3rd from top silver medal, rectangular-shaped, obelisk with banner stating INDIANAPOLIS, verso: THE WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO., NEWARK, N.J.; bottom medal round 3/4 portrait of Benjamin Harrison, laurel wreath with text 54TH NATIONAL ENCAMPMENT G.A.R. SEPT. 19-25, 1920, INDIANAPOLIS IND., attached to yellow ribbon with tag stating, "THIS BADGE MANUFACTURED BY THE WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO., MAKERS OF BADGES, BUTTONS, BANNERS, SIGNS, AND ADVERTISING NOVELTIES, MAIN OFFICE AND FACTORY - NEWARK, N.J., ALL GOODS GUARANTEED UNION MADE," smaller print, "Internaional Typographical Union No. 103, Bookbinders no. 62, etc..."
