Hugh B. Price will discuss his new memoir, This African-American Life, and his experiences as an activist and president of the National Urban League from 1994 to 2003.

Hugh B. Price is a former Senior Vice President of WNET/Thirteen; former Vice President of the Rockefeller Foundation, and former John L. Weinberg/Goldman Sachs Visiting Professor of Public and International Affairs in the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University. He is currently a senior fellow in Economic Studies with the Brookings Institute, the nation's oldest think tank, and the author of This African-American Life.

Duarte Geraldino (moderator) is a special correspondent for PBS Newshour and a TED 2017 Resident.
