Event Details

History comes alive for the whole family with Living History Days at the New-York Historical Society! Who were the brave men and women who helped ensure the Allies' victory in World War II? What are their stories? Join us as we commemorate Veterans Day and engage with our visiting living historians, who will represent the American aircrews who fought courageously during the most widespread and destructive conflict in human history.

Living History Days are produced in conjunction with the exhibition WWII & NYC and are free with Museum admission.

About the Group

Formed in 1993, the Army Air Forces Historical Association (AAFHA) is an historical and educational non-profit organization that honors the American aircrews that participated in the European and Pacific Theaters of Operations during World War II. Based in northern New Jersey, its members participate in air shows, historical retrospects, educational programs, and seminars to provide a living voice and context to the harrowing experiences of World War II veterans.
