In the past three decades, New York City has become an important center of craft brewing, marking the resurgence of an important trade practiced in New York City and State since the days of its earliest European settlement. Explore this fascinating yet largely unknown legacy with a special tour of the exhibition Beer Here: Brewing New York's History, led by curators Nina Nazionale and Debra Schmidt Bach. Gallery tours are limited to 35 guests per tour. Please buy tickets in advance.

Speakers Bio(s)

Debra Schmidt Bach is Associate Curator of Decorative Arts at the New-York Historical Society and the former Tiffany & Co. Foundation Research Fellow in American Silver. Nina Nazionale is Director of Library Operations at the New-York Historical Society, where she has worked since 1999. They are co-curators of the exhibition Beer Here: Brewing New York's History.

Advance tickets may also be purchased on site at the New-York Historical Society admissions desk. Advance purchase is required to guarantee participation. All sales are final and payments cannot be refunded. Programs and dates may be subject to change. Management reserves the right to refuse admission to latecomers.
